Best Place to Buy Beef Roast Federal Way, Wa

Some of you have been asking me for local butchers or farms where you could buy organic meat or maybe invest in buying a portion of a grass-fed cow. I'm on it!  There may be others – and if so, I'd love for you to leave that in the comment. In particular, farms you can buy direct from. (This was a bigger challenge to locate!)

Please note that this list does not mean I'm endorsing any of these places or that in fact, the meat there is the best quality. Consider this list as a resource to get you started. Make sure to do your own research on any of the places noted below. If you can vouch for any of these places? Feel free to leave your recommendation! 1. The Meat Shop of Tacoma

2. Butcher Boys Beef Outlet

The Butcher Boys carry beef products with no hormones, no added antibiotics, and 100% USDA Choice, all natural grass and grain fed beef. They also sell custom smoked beef, summer sausage, smoked cheese, and pork ribs. You can also find chicken, turkey, salmon, and pork which is not certified organic products.

3. Stewart's Meat Market

Stewart's meats have been in business since 1929 and have been run by the same family for four generations. Stewart's offers smoked meats, locker meat, meat packs, fresh meats, exotic meats, deli case, and pet food. They have antibiotic free and hormone free turkey. They are well known for their specialty smoked meats and jerky's all around the area.

4. Dave's Meats & Produce (no website located)

Sarah's note: I can't seem to locate a website for Dave's Meats & Produce. I did find some reviews on Yelp and noticed it mentioned on multiple blogs as a great spot for meat and organic produce.  People mentioned the informative butchers and wide variety of organic meat and produce. Service was noted as being very good, a great local spot.

5. Mt. View Meat and Sausage Company

Three generations of family have owned and operated this local shop. Choose from high quality meats, smoked meats, choice grain fed or grass fed beef, free range whole pork with no hormones or antibiotics, sausages. Mt. View also processes wild game.
